UVA SunSystems, Inc. is the parent company of SunMaster, and has manufacturered a variety of products over the years, including SunMaster and Virtual Sun tanning beds, tanning lotions under the brand names Revenge, Blue Moon, Tequila SunRise, Mango Bay and others, plus a variety of custom parts for the tanning industry. We have also built tanning beds for private labeling for other companies. Their home office and primary distribution point (shown above) is located just north of Greensboro, North Carolina, and our manufacturing plant is located in central Alabama, near the town of Jemison.

Founded in 1985 by Rick Pierce, UVA SunSystems, Inc. is a family owned, privately held company still managed by Mr. Pierce. The majority of employees have worked for UVA for over 10 years, with a few approaching their 20 year anniversary with the company. This has given UVA a competitive advantage, as having the most experienced and stable work forces in the entire indoor tanning industry. The diversity of products they produce and sell, and ability to change to market conditions has insured them a stable place in the market place, even during the worst economic times.

UVA SunSystems began as a regional distributor for Sundash, Montego Bay and SonnenBraune branded tanning beds, and soon moved into manufacturing their own tanning beds and lamps under the SunMaster name. They also import a number of tanning beds, frames and other products from Alpha Industries of Belgium, whom they have had a working relationship for over a decade. These products now are shipped nationwide, and in many areas of Canada, Mexico and South America.

UVA SunSystems has always focused on two market segments, the home tanning bed owner and the small salon owner.
